This department centres its activity in the environmental issues, namely water, dregs and recycling, and, obviously, energy.

This is a growingly demanding field, so the department has qualified lawyers in several areas, as Administrative Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Offence Law and Tax Law.

In the field of Energy, the office gives support to many projects, namely in aeolian energy, natural gas and carbon market. The network concessions have been particularly observed by this department, since the pre-contract stage till the execution of the actual contracts as well as the added litigations.

In the water field, António Vilar Luís Cameirão & Associados Law Office supports several projects of public-private partnerships. In the field of Dregs and Recycling we provide, namely, litigation services in the litigation area concerning the juridical regime of hazardous and noxious substances and waste management.
